How to initialize a lock<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Initializing a lock means becoming the Master of an unassigned lock.<\/p>\n

An unassigned lock is a new or reset device that has not yet been registered by another user.<\/p>\n

To initialize a lock, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.<\/p>\n

Press the button located on the back of the lock, opposite the Rielda logo. The lock will start flashing blue.<\/p>\n

From this moment, you have 5 minutes to initialize the device:<\/p>\n

  • Open the app<\/li>\n
  • From the Home screen, tap Scan Devices<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    A list of nearby devices will appear:<\/p>\n

    • Select the lock you want to initialize<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The selected lock will flash blue:<\/p>\n

      • Enter a name for the device<\/li>\n
      • Tap Initialize<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        The lock will flash green and will appear on the Home screen.<\/p>\n

        Your role will automatically be set as Master.<\/p>\n

          Activation refers to both unlocking and locking operations.<\/p>\n

          Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone:<\/p>\n

            Green LED: the lock can now be turned.<\/p>\n

            After 15 seconds:

            Master<\/strong><\/p>

            The Master has full access privileges. They can:<\/p>

            • Add and remove users<\/li>
            • View access logs<\/li><\/ul>

              The Master who initialized the lock cannot be removed by other Master users.<\/p>

              Basic<\/strong><\/p>

              The Basic user:<\/p>

              • Cannot add or remove users<\/li>
              • Cannot view access logs<\/li><\/ul>

                Basic user access can include a time expiration set by the Master who added them.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

                After selecting a device from the Home screen, the Emergency Options<\/strong> button will be available.<\/p>

                There are 5 emergency options:<\/p>

                • Emergency Code<\/li>
                • Forced Unlock<\/li>
                • Forced Lock<\/li>
                • Reset<\/li>
                • Activation Timer<\/li><\/ul>

                  \u00a0<\/p>

                  Emergency Code<\/strong><\/p>

                  The Emergency Code allows the lock to operate without a smartphone.<\/p>

                  Activation is performed using the button located on the back of the lock, opposite the Rielda logo.<\/p>

                  To register an Emergency Code:<\/strong><\/p>

                  • Tap Emergency Code<\/strong> on your smartphone<\/li>
                  • Enter a numeric code (number greater than 256; decimal format allowed)<\/li>
                  • Tap Dec<\/strong> to display the code in binary format (0 and 1)<\/li><\/ul>

                    To activate the lock without a smartphone, you must enter the binary code.<\/p>

                    The decimal format is useful for recovering the binary code if forgotten.<\/p>

                    • Tap Save<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>

                      \u00a0<\/p>

                      To activate the device using the Emergency Code:<\/strong><\/p>

                      • Press and hold the small button<\/li><\/ul>

                        The lock will flash blue, indicating that the code can be entered.<\/p>

                        • Enter the binary code using the emergency button<\/li><\/ul>

                          Press and hold to enter number 1<\/strong> (green light on the device).<\/p>

                          Press quickly to enter number 0<\/strong> (red light on the device).<\/p>

                          Wait 5 seconds after entering the last number. The lock will flash blue to indicate the end of the input sequence. Then it will flash green and activate.<\/p>

                          If you make a mistake during input, simply wait for the blue light and start over.<\/p>

                          \u00a0<\/p>

                          Forced Unlock (Emergency Use Only)<\/strong><\/p>

                          Allows the lock to unlock in case it becomes permanently locked.<\/p>

                          • Can only be used twice consecutively<\/li>
                          • After using Forced Unlock, use the normal Activate<\/strong> function<\/li><\/ul>

                            \u00a0<\/p>

                            Forced Lock (Emergency Use Only)<\/strong><\/p>

                            Allows the lock to lock in case it becomes permanently unlocked.<\/p>

                            • Can only be used twice consecutively<\/li>

                              You and the user must both be near the lock.<\/p>\n

                              Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone:<\/p>\n

                              • Select the lock from the Home screen<\/li>\n
                              • Tap Users<\/strong><\/li>\n
                              • Tap +<\/strong><\/li>\n
                              • Enter a name<\/li>\n
                              • Select a role (Master or Basic)<\/li>\n

                                The connection closes and the app displays the message: User added<\/em>.<\/p>\n

                                  On the other user\u2019s smartphone:<\/p>\n

                                    To grant remote access to a device, you must be the Master of the device.<\/p>

                                    You can generate a QR-code-based pass that the user must activate within 24 hours by connecting to the lock.<\/p>

                                    After 24 hours, the user will no longer be able to register the device.<\/p>

                                      Master users have no time limitations, while Basic users can have an expiration period starting from their first connection to the lock.<\/p>

                                        • Select the previously generated Pass<\/li>
                                        • Tap Share<\/strong><\/li>
